After the chorus concluded, Jelly Roll called Josie Salvitti to join him on stage as she moved forward to greet the massive crowd. “It was insane! So many people!” Josie shared.

A talented young girl is catching the attention of some of country music’s biggest stars, thanks to her exceptional talent and bravery in pursuing her dreams.

Josie Salvitti, an 11-year-old aspiring singer from Pittsburgh, PA, recently shared the stage with Jelly Roll. The performance took place on Tuesday, August 15, at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, PA, as part of the rapper-turned-country artist’s extensive Backroad Baptism Tour.

The young vocalist took the microphone in place of Lainey Wilson, who was headlining the tour and had been performing in Atlanta, GA, at the State Farm Arena before continuing on to Alabama. Stepping up, Salvitti delivered the lead vocals for Wilson’s section of Jelly Roll’s “Save Me” from his latest album and country debut, WHITSITT CHAPEL.

Salvitti appears completely at ease singing alongside her idol, meticulously emphasizing each word with the backing of a full band. She shows no signs of nervousness and confidently delivers the borrowed lyrics as the audience cheers her on throughout the entire performance.
